Doctors Should Be Held Accountable For Covering Up Essure Symptoms

Tuesday, October 30, 2018 - In spite of Bayer pulling Essure from the market, close to one million women may continue to suffer. Essure may cause painful and debilitating symptoms for decades to come for women who have had the device implanted in them. These women will be surprised to learn how difficult it may be for them to actually have the device removed. Experts now believe that Essure birth control was a fundamentally flawed concept that is now a ticking time bomb waiting to destroy a woman's reproductive system and overall health. It is inconceivable that women in their twenties could live an entire lifetime with a sharp, metal coil permanently implanted in her fallopian tubes without experiencing complications that require its removal. The fact of the matter is that most gynecologists recommending Essure are on the Bayer payroll as "consultants" or teachers in order to financially incentivize (bribe) them to recommend Essure over other forms of birth control and to downplay the device's side effects. Some gynecologists have been paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to lie about Essure. Most women that eventually link Essure with their pain and adverse symptoms say that they were told that they were crazy or out of their minds when accusing the Essure device of being the cause of their illnesses.

Essure gynecologists are complicit and need to be held accountable for their association with Bayer and in covering up Essure birth control adverse symptoms.
