Essure Women Around the World Document Their Horrible Experiences On YouTube

In addition to the Facebook group Essure Problems, Youtube videos are being made and shared by women that have experienced the catastrophic side effects of the ill-conceived birth control device

Friday, May 31, 2019 - Personal Essure problem testimonials are all the proof one needs to stay as far away from this dangerous birth control device as possible. One woman tells the story that Essure makes her feel like she has been stabbed repeatedly over and over again producing a hot, burning pain that never ends. Another said, I felt like I was dying and that something was horribly, horribly wrong with her, and that something was slowly killing her from the inside. Another woman wondered out loud how something so small could cause so much damage.

Essure women have been lied to by their Essure doctors. The Youtube women said that Essure was sold to them as a very simple procedure, that they would be in and out of the doctor's office in ten to twenty minutes, that it was the answer to all her prayers, that there would be no recovery time, and that there were far fewer risks attached to it than traditional sterilization. Others were told that Essure would leave no scars and that they could return to work with a day. It is a well-known fact that it often requires a total hysterectomy to remove Essure because it has migrated to the uterus and become lodged there. Essure warnings issued by the FDA reported by more than 5,093 women with adverse side effect turned for help from top national attorneys due to the faulty harmful Essure birth control device failing and creating a muiltitude of problems for women that were implanted with Essure device.

Emily Quinton was quoted on a Youtube video as describing what Essure did to her. "It literally felt like someone was pumping blood out of me when I sat down or stood up." Things started to go wrong for her immediately following the procedure. According to the video, Emily's bleeding would not stop following the Essure insertion, and doctors removed her uterus and Fallopian tubes. After 6 weeks she required a complete hysterectomy. Doctors only were able to locate one Essure coil as the other had migrated down to her bowels and could not be removed. Emily continues to have pain and bleeding whenever she uses the toilet. Emily shares that she and her partner have had difficulty being intimate because she "simply cannot take the pain." Emily, who is a mother of four, says she has difficulty being the mother she wants to be because of being in constant pain.

The YouTube video then interviews Dr. Carl Heneghan, of the Center for Evidence-Based Medicine at Oxford University, who is critical of the materials that make up the Essure device, namely Nickel and PET fiber. First off he says about 10% of women will have negative hyperallergic reactions to Nickel and secondly, when you heat up PET it releases dangerous chemicals into the blood system.

32-year old Victoria Dethier elaborates on her Essure symptoms as feeling like she can never get enough sleep, and is always too tired. Victoria has kept a diary of her Essure experience. "Pain in the wrist and knuckles and particularly in between the shoulder blades, a burning sensation, bloating and gas, constant headaches and a disgusting taste in her mouth, just to name a few. Victoria describes as being bedridden due to her Essure pain.
